Family Christian Center is a unique, diverse, multi-cultural church with a passion to share the message of Jesus Christ to everyone and anyone - from the faceless to the famous. We are bold in our passion to share the message of Jesus in a way that speaks to our generation.   Our rich history (being a part of the Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland community for over 50 years) speaks of our relentless passion to see the message of Jesus reach as man people as we can.  Under the dynamic leadership of Senior Pastors Steve Munsey and  Melodye Munsey, we continue to make an impact in our region and across the nation through our television broadcasts,  live services and ministry resources. 

Our church isn't built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the sacrifice of many.  We've  gained a national reputation for the innovative use of multi-media and dramatic arts. We believe the message of Jesus stays the same, but we must always be innovative in our methods of telling His story.  We provide hundreds of opportunities to volunteer and serve Jesus  in the area of the arts.

OUR IMAPCT

We are committed to showing God’s love to a hurting world. Through our ministry, Operation Care, 5 million tons of food have been distributed to local families. Our hospital ministry sends chaplains to 23 local hospitals. We are serving people in 5 prisons in the Northwest Indiana-Chicagoland area and bringing the love of Jesus through our prison ministry. 

Family Christian Center  also provide spiritual and financial help to missionaries in more than 10 countries, supporting orphanages, schools and churches through world missions. Locally, Family Christian Center is building lives through Equip, a ministry that provides free classes from quality instructors on a wide variety of subjects. In addition, those who are interested in a career in full time ministry have the opportunity to receive hands on training through FCC’s Cross College.
