This Sunday is going to be a very special day at FCC. We are going to honor all of our wonderful fathers for FATHER’S DAY, and Pastor Steve wants to ask all FCC dads, “Are YOU a Water-Walker?” This sermon focuses on all of the traits a “Water-Walking” father has. Psalms 1:2&3 (NIV) states, “His delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.” That’s YOU, FCC dads! You submit your ways to the Lord, oversee the finances and futures of your households, and you are GOD’s messenger to the home. He enters the lives of your children by the examples YOU set. YOU are vital to your households and the society in which we live, and we thank you for obeying GOD by submitting your finances, volunteerism, strength, and discipline to GOD’s kingdom. One day isn’t enough to honor you, but we hope that each father knows how blessed we are to have GOD-fearing priests in our homes and our church!
