celebrate
YOU!
Our
annual
“Going
for
the
Gold”
May
Conference
has
returned
to
celebrate
all
of
the
hard
work,
commitment,
and
talent
of
our
wonderful
FCC
volunteers,
who
said
in
their
hearts,
“we
will
not
neglect
the
house
of
our
GOD”
(Nehemiah
10:39).
We
have
designated
the
last
three
Wed.
of
May
(5/17,
5/24,
&
5/31)
to
honor
our
faithful
servants
of
GOD.
Each
volunteer
will
be
blessed
with
oil,
participate
in
our
dedication
service,
receive
“Going
for
the
Gold”
volunteer
medals
for
their
particular
ministry,
and
the
FCC
“Volunteer
of
the
Year”
will
be
announced!
You
don’t
want
to
miss
this
night
of
celebration.
There
will
be
live
entertainment
with
musical
guest
Jeron
Davis,
and
hundreds
of
volunteers,
so
please
come
and
be
honored!

Although May 14th is the
day set aside to honor
our wonderful mothers,
we believe that there is
so much that mothers do
to strengthen,
encourage, and prepare
children for life.
Whether you are married,
a single mother, or a
widow, we want to take
time to tell you that we
notice. We notice all
you do. The many nights
set aside empowering
your child, the
compliments that boost
his or her self-esteem,
and the determination in
demanding the best out
of your sons/daughters.
We honor you for your
sacrifices, faithfulness
and your courage.
Proverbs 22:6 says,
“Train a child in the
way he should go: and
when he is old, he will
not depart from it.” (KJV)
YOU, wonderful women of
God, have obeyed and
have given back to GOD
the best gift he could
ever want, his children.
You reared your children
to love the Lord, and
thanks to you mothers,
your children will have
a relationship with our
Lord Jesus Christ, so we
notice, thank, and
congratulate you on a
job well done. Happy
Mother’s Day!

1. Adult Summer Series
with Senior Pastor Steve
Munsey. Beginning June
14th, 2006 Pastor Steve
Munsey will teach a
twelve week course
entitled “Journey
Through the Bible.” Also
beginning June 14th,
2006, curriculum on
Pastor Steve’s teachings
will be available weekly
in the lobby. In
addition, the complete
curriculum can be
purchased as well.

2. Teen Summer Series
with Mark Hughes: 252
YOUTH CULTURE This
summer youth Pastor Mark
Hughes will teach on the
subject “The Amazing
Race.” This series is
aimed at equipping our
teenagers for a life of
ministry.
3. Children’s Ministry
with Tom Toney.
Children’s Pastor Tom
Toney will lead Power
Kids, Dream Town,
Energy, and Genesis in
the summer series
“Around the World in 80
Days.” Tom Toney
believes that you are
never too young to learn
about God.

This Memorial Day Join thousands from all over at FCC’s auditorium at 6am, as we meet to pray for our leaders, our nation, our future days and our loved ones. Prayer is the only way we can communicate to God thru our Precious Jesus! We are so excited about coming together and giving God this special time!

WEDDING RECEPTION! |

AS you may already know that our great music Pastor will be wedded to Rev. John Morgan of Tacoma. The wedding will take place on a Lake
boat Thursday May 11th. We here at FCC are invited to a very special wedding reception in their honor Saturday May 20th in our gymnatorium
from 11 am to 1 PM. It will be our opportunity
to bless our great music pastor as she begins her new life in Tacoma WA. Please bring a card to place in the Wedding Well.
Please note that they are registered with both
Crate & Barrel and the Pottery Barn.
